The Bowman Post Group Foundation is dedicated to supporting the hospitality industry workforce and their families through charitable and educational assistance.
Our stated purpose is:
“To engage in charitable and educational related activities to benefit the hospitality industry workforce and their families.”
We fulfill this mission through our Grant Fund, which provides financial support to individuals and families within the hospitality community."
The Foundation awards two types of grants: General Grants and The Javier LaFianza Memorial Scholarship
Many hotel owners and operators already invest meaningfully in their teams. Across the country, hospitality leaders provide support, mentorship, internal assistance programs, and opportunities for advancement. We deeply respect and admire those efforts.
At the same time, we recognize that not every need can be met internally.
Hospitality is built on service — on individuals who work long hours, support their families, and take pride in caring for others. Behind every role is someone pursuing education, building stability, or striving toward long-term opportunity.
Our grants were created to complement — not replace — the support already happening within hotels. The goal is to extend the circle of care beyond a single property and create an additional layer of opportunity for the broader hospitality workforce.
We believe the people who power this industry deserve pathways for growth, access to education, and support during pivotal moments.
By giving back to hospitality professionals and their families, we reinvest in the foundation of the industry itself: its people.
